Teleport pokemon4/3/2023 ![]() ![]() The ability of the Clefable depends on the game it's from. Only Wish, again due to Teleport not being an egg move. Meaning the child pokemon you just bred will NOT actually know Teleport. This method only works on the parent and only the one that was originally from Let's Go or the 3DS versions of the Downloadable pokemon Red, Blue, Green or Yellow Versions (since Teleport is not an actual egg move for Clefable only a TM from those games that Clefable is able to learn) They must be the exact same species for the parents to learn the egg move. And being on the same evolution level, means you can't breed a Clefairy that knows Wish and a Clefable that knows Teleport and breed the move. Meaning you can't take a Togetic or any other pokemon that knows Wish and breed it with the Clefairy. The parents need to be the same species on the same evolution level. It may seem impossible at first because Teleport is a move that's only teachable in TMs from Let's Go and the 3DS Downloads of the original pokemon games (both of which are games where pokemon cannot breed)īut due to recent breeding changes, a pokemon's PARENTS can actually learn egg moves, provided they are both the same Species.įirst take your pokemon Let's Go game and find yourself a ClefairyĪnd there you have it! A Clefable that knows both Wish and Teleport! Now to teach you dear reader how to actually do it. ![]() Wish Passing.īy using the move Wish and then using Teleport to switch to another pokemon, you can ensure that no matter what, the pokemon WILL get healed so long as Clefable doesn't get KOed by the opponent, because Clefable will take the hit for the team member and safely bring it in via the Teleport switch. Now you may be asking yourself why that's useful in a game as fast paced as pokemon, wanting to purposefully go last, but the reason is this. (Wow Pokemon sure is expensive these days)ĭue to changes in Teleport's priority bracket being reduced to -6, Teleport now all but guarantees you will go last. In order to get this particular pokemon set, you will need the following: For example, Blissey is probably slow enough to be able to use Volt Switch / U-turn and deal a tiny bit of damage, but it doesn't learn either moves.Hi everyone Spartan here to tell you how to get one of Smogon's most popular, but very confusing to get, sets for Clefable. While Clefable has built-in Heavy-Duty Boots (Magic Guard), Blissey and Slowbro, two common Teleport users, don't take damage because of Stealth Rock due to them.Īnother reason why Teleport is popular is because its the only form of pivoting a Pokemon has. While the move itself wasn't, the introduction of Heavy-Duty Boots is definitely one of the reasons for its popularity. If you know that Slowbro can take another hit, you can use Teleport to pivot and your switch-in won't take damage (going back to my first point). Next, onto Slowbro, Regenerator heals it when Slowbro switches. Also note that Blissey can use Teleport to get rid of status due to Natural Cure. Since it has negative priority, you sweeper won't take any damage before getting healed by Wish. Clefable can take one more hit, so you stay in and use Teleport. If you have a low-health sweeper on your team and it won't be able to survive another hit, you may use Wish with Clefable. While Wish doesn't activate by switching, it will heal its teammate by switching. Clefable has Wish, while Blissey has Natural Cure. These are both fairly bulky Pokemon who have one thing in common - they have a form of recovery activated by switching. Looking at the Pokemon who commonly use Teleport, you see things such as Clefable and Blissey. ![]()
